Finlee was created by RAKE Digital because we knew there was a better way for HCM providers to track client funds. We're obsessively passionate about it, and our goal is to help HCM providers succeed in this critical business process. It's one of the least understood aspects of operations, and we're excited to simplify client funds reconciliation through education and software.

Our beginning
RAKE Digital was founded by Jennifer Eversole, CPA, CISSP and Craig Eversole in 2017. It quickly became obvious that their many years of HCM industry experience would be key to helping HCM providers solve industry challenges by providing cloud solutions purpose built for the industry.

One of those obvious challenges was tracking client funds. Thus, Finlee (formerly called Assure) was born.
Early growth
After a glimpse of the demand, we got to work to build the industry's only SaaS based client funds reconciliation application. By 2018, we established a solid user base consisting of users of one payroll engine. But we knew we could do more to help.
By 2021, we launched version 2, a payroll engine agnostic SaaS application that revolutionized how HCM providers reconcile.
